Bummy is comfy
Have you ever gone out into public wearing a bummy outfit? Don’t worry. We all do. We all have moments where we just want to go to Walmart and grab a couple of groceries without being seen. It’s not your proudest moment but it is essential for character development. This leads me to the topic of today’s blog, Bummy Attire.
The great misconception is that bummy attire is the last thing you should wear. It may not be on the list of things we want to wear daily but it can be a crucial part of the full ensemble. It could be a sweatsuit, jeans & a t-shirt, shorts with a hoodie. Whichever form of it you choose there are ways to make it pop without being embarrassing.
One of the most common forms of this is color coordination. This method may seem like a form of fast fashion but if used correctly, you can go out bummy, and people will still ask about your clothes. The easiest avenue of color coordination would be co-ord sets, or sweat set/tracksuit. One of these outfits is a sure fire way to stay comfortable but also look slightly fashion forward.
Make it stand out
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Accessories. A great way to elevate any outfit, is to add significant pieces of jewelry, handbags, etc. For example, when I am going to the store and im wearing one of my sweatsuits I will pair it with a pair of earrings. Maybe some ear cuffs or diamond studs to accompany it. Your jewelry doesnt have to be real. If it plays its part, you shouldnt pay top dollar for it. Unless you want to.
Last but not least, is how your clothes accompany your personal style. Some people look better in baggy clothes and others in tight. The overall goal is to find what works for you and make it pop. To find what works for you be on the lookout for a blog to helping you find your personal style.
Being bummy doesnt mean you look homeless. Its all about making what others consider cheap and making it something memorable. A sweatsuit can look like it costs hundreds if its used correctly. Bummy is comfort not class.
